Material Recovery Facility Sewage Treatment Plant Waste to Energy Plant The 300 TPD Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Bhopal stands as a landmark waste management infrastructure, enabling efficient segregation, recovery, and recycling of dry waste while advancing circular economy principles. Developed by Jaipur Municipal Corporation and Khilari Infrastructure between 2020 and 2023 across an area of 22.50 hectares, the Dehalawas Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) is Rajasthan%u2019s largest wastewater treatment facility, with a treatment capacity of 215 million litres per day (MLD).The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has established a robust waste-to-energy (WtE) infrastructure to support scientific solid waste management and renewable energy generation. The Tehkhand WtE Plant processes 2,000 TPD of waste and generates 25 MW of electricity. Scientific Waste ManagementOperated by the Lucknow Municipal Corporation, the Bharwara Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) is one of the largest wastewater treatment facilities in Asia. The plant treats over 345 million litres of sewage per day.The Waste-to-Energy (WtE) plant in Ahmedabad processes 1,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste per day, converting non-recyclable waste into 13 MW of clean electricity through advanced thermal technology. By scientifically managing residual waste and utilizing fly ash and bottom ash for road construction and land reclamation, the plant promotes sustainable waste management and resource recovery. Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh has a major, 25 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) located in Balikonta.
