An overarching behaviour change campaign for Swachh Bharat - Swachh Aadat Se Swachh Bharat %u2013 Let us Celebrate Swachh Festivals. The focus will be behaviour change for adopting clean habits which will finally build into character and culture - Swabhav Swachhata Sanskar Swachhata. CELEBRATING SWACHH FESTIVALS From Pongal to Bihu, from Makar Sankranti to Magh Mela, the spirit of celebration is being elevated with conscious choices, eco-friendly colours, natural decorations, source segregation, composting of wet waste and creative wealth from waste innovations. Across cities and towns, citizens are embracing Swachh Aadat not as a one-time action, but as a way of life. This is not just during festivals but as a part of the lifestyle.As festive cheer fills homes, streets and public spaces, a clear message resonates nationwide: festivals and Swachhata go hand in hand. These people-led celebrations reflect the essence of a Jan Andolan, where individual responsibility and community participation come together to protect the environment.
